Hi friends, this is Yang.
I'm an undergrad studying Mathematics and Music Composition, while juggling between multiple jobs as a research assistant (and enjoying it very much!).

My research interests lie between theoretical neuroscience and computational cognitive science.

I want to understand how human imagination/mental simulation works. I think combining the usage of memory in current imagination/mental simulation research is important. I believe offline learning is a good way to frame it, and hippocampal replay is a good angle to cut in.

I'm also hugely interested in memory retrieval, for one cannot imagine without retrieving one's memories and potentially recombining them.

Other interests include philosophy of science and neuroscience, privacy, environmental protection, motorsport strategy, basketball strategy, and esports strategy.
